The Treatment

What is Skin Rejuvenation?

This facial targets tone and texture rather than congestion — the dullness, uneven pigment and roughness that build up from sun exposure and time. It combines resurfacing with actives chosen to brighten, then finishes with hydration and protection.

It suits skin that looks tired and uneven rather than spotty, and is a common choice for people in their thirties and beyond who want to keep skin looking fresh without moving to injectables or laser.

How It Works

What happens at your appointment

1

Skin analysis

Your therapist looks at your skin properly and adapts the treatment to what it needs on the day, rather than following a fixed routine.

2

The facial

Cleansing, exfoliation and treatment steps are carried out with products and intensity selected for your skin.

3

Finish & aftercare

Finishing products are applied and you are given simple aftercare advice to keep the results going.

Aftercare

  • Keep your routine gentle for a day or two.
  • Avoid strong actives, scrubs and acids as advised.
  • Use SPF daily — freshly exfoliated skin is more sun-sensitive.
  • Avoid heat, saunas and heavy exercise for 24 hours.
  • Drink water and let the skin settle.

Suitability

Is Skin Rejuvenation right for you?

A good fit if…

  • Your skin tone looks uneven or patchy
  • Sun exposure has left the skin dull or marked
  • Texture feels rough despite moisturising
  • You want an anti-ageing approach without injectables
  • You are willing to use SPF daily afterwards

Tell us first if…

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are using Roaccutane or strong prescription retinoids
  • You have been in strong sun or used a sunbed recently
  • You have active eczema, rosacea or broken skin on the face

Results and how often: One treatment brightens; genuine change in tone and texture comes from a course, usually four to six sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. Daily SPF is essential afterwards or the pigment you have just treated will return.

Good To Know

Skin Rejuvenation FAQs

Will my skin peel afterwards?
There may be light flaking for a couple of days depending on the strength used. Do not pick it — let it shed naturally and keep the skin well moisturised.
Can it remove pigmentation completely?
It can visibly improve tone and reduce the appearance of pigment. Complete removal is rarely realistic, and pigment returns without daily sun protection — we will be honest about what to expect.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually four to six for a noticeable change in tone. Your therapist will suggest a plan after assessing your skin.
Is there any downtime?
Generally none. Some clients notice mild pinkness for an hour or so, which settles quickly.
How often should I have one?
Every four to six weeks maintains results, though many clients book individually before events. There is no obligation to commit to a course.
Will it suit sensitive skin?
Usually. Your therapist adapts products and intensity to what your skin can tolerate, and will suggest something else if it is not suitable.
