Your technician hand-makes a fan of several ultra-fine extensions and attaches that fan to a single natural lash — repeated across the whole lash line. Because each extension is far lighter than a classic lash, several can be carried safely by one natural lash.

You rest with your eyes closed while your technician works. Most clients find it relaxing and many fall asleep.

You are shown how to care for them so they last, and when to book your infills.

Aftercare

  • Keep them dry for 24 hours.
  • Avoid oil-based products and cleansers around the eyes.
  • Do not pick, rub or pull them.
  • Brush them gently with the wand provided.
  • Book infills every two to three weeks to maintain them.

Results and how often: A full Russian volume set lasts six to eight weeks as your natural lashes shed, with infills every two to three weeks to keep the density. Because the extensions are ultra-fine, a properly applied set does not overload the natural lash.

Are Russian volume lashes heavy?
No. Each extension in the fan is far finer than a classic lash, so a fan of several weighs about the same as one classic extension. Weight problems come from poor application, not from volume itself.
How long does a full set take?
Around two hours, because every fan is made by hand during your appointment. Set the time aside and enjoy it — most clients find it very relaxing.
Can I get them wet?
Avoid water, steam and heat for the first 24 hours while the adhesive cures fully. After that you can shower and swim as normal, but avoid oil-based products around the eyes.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes — at least 48 hours before your first appointment. This applies even if you have had extensions elsewhere.
How long do they last?
Typically two to three weeks before infills, depending on your natural lash cycle and how you care for them.
Will they damage my natural lashes?
Applied and removed correctly, they should not. Problems usually come from picking at them or having them applied too heavily.
