What is Millia Removal?

Milia are small, firm white bumps that form when keratin becomes trapped just beneath the surface of the skin. They are extremely common around the eyes and on the cheeks, they are entirely harmless, and — unlike whiteheads — they cannot be squeezed out, because there is no opening to the surface.

Removal involves creating a tiny opening in the skin over the milium with a sterile lance and lifting the contents out. It is quick and precise, and because we work regularly around the delicate eye area it is done carefully and cleanly.
