What is Infills?

Your natural lashes shed and regrow constantly, so an extension set gradually thins as the lashes it was attached to fall out. Infills replace what has shed and tidy what has grown out, bringing the set back to how it looked when it was first applied.

Coming in every two to three weeks is far cheaper than starting again with a full set, and it also lets your technician check the health of your natural lashes and remove any extensions that have grown out at an awkward angle.

What happens at your appointment

Consultation & patch test

We agree the look you want. A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your first appointment.

Application

You rest with your eyes closed while your technician works. Most clients find it relaxing and many fall asleep.

Aftercare

You are shown how to care for them so they last, and when to book your infills.

Aftercare

  • Keep them dry for 24 hours.
  • Avoid oil-based products and cleansers around the eyes.
  • Do not pick, rub or pull them.
  • Brush them gently with the wand provided.
  • Book infills every two to three weeks to maintain them.

Is Infills right for you?

  • You want to keep a full look without paying for a new set
  • Your lashes still have at least half the extensions in place
  • You wear extensions continuously

Tell us first if…

  • More than half your extensions have shed — you may need a new full set
  • You have any eye irritation, redness or infection
  • You have picked or pulled at the extensions
  • It has been more than four weeks since your last appointment

Results and how often: Booking every two to three weeks keeps a set looking permanently fresh. If you leave it much longer than four weeks, there is usually too little left to build on and a full set works out better.

Infills FAQs

How often should I book infills?
Every two to three weeks for most people. Your shedding cycle is individual, so your technician will suggest a rhythm that suits your lashes.
What if I have left it too long?
If fewer than about half your extensions remain, we will usually recommend a fresh full set instead — it gives a better result than building on a sparse base.
Can I have infills on lashes done elsewhere?
Usually yes, but let us know when you book. We will need to see the condition and style of the existing set first, and occasionally a removal and fresh set is the better option.
Do I need a patch test?
Yes — at least 48 hours before your first appointment. This applies even if you have had extensions elsewhere.
How long do they last?
Typically two to three weeks before infills, depending on your natural lash cycle and how you care for them.
Will they damage my natural lashes?
Applied and removed correctly, they should not. Problems usually come from picking at them or having them applied too heavily.
