The Treatment

What is a HydraFacial?

A non-invasive facial treatment that combines several important skincare steps within one appointment. Depending on the treatment selected and your skin's requirements, your HydraFacial may include:

01

Deep cleansing

The skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove surface impurities and prepare it for treatment.

02

Exfoliation

Dead surface skin cells are gently removed to reveal fresher-looking skin underneath.

03

Extraction

Vortex technology helps remove congestion and impurities from the pores using controlled suction.

04

Hydration

The skin is infused with hydrating ingredients to replenish moisture and support a smoother, more radiant appearance.

05

Personalised finishing care

Your treatment is completed according to your skin's needs, helping leave it feeling fresh, hydrated and cared for.

Who It Suits

What can HydraFacial help with?

HydraFacial is popular because it can address several common skin concerns within one treatment. It may be suitable for clients concerned about:

Dull or tired-looking skin Dehydration Dryness Congested pores Blackheads Excess surface oil Uneven-looking skin tone Rough skin texture Fine lines General skin maintenance Preparing skin for a special occasion

Every client's skin is different, so we will recommend the most appropriate facial based on your individual concerns.

The Glamsoul Experience

Your HydraFacial treatment journey

Eight steps, start to finish. This is not a cleanse-and-mask facial with a machine wheeled in at the end — the device does the work the whole way through, and every setting is chosen for the skin in front of us.

1

Consultation & skin analysis

We discuss your concerns and medical history, then examine your skin under a magnifying lamp to see what is actually going on before anything is switched on.

2

Foam cleanse

The airbrush turns cleanser into a dense micro-foam that lifts make-up, SPF and surface oil far more thoroughly than a hand cleanse.

3

Ultrasonic exfoliation

The skin scrubber vibrates at 25kHz to loosen keratin and the debris sitting inside the pore, so extraction does not have to force anything.

4

Hydra dermabrasion

The step the treatment is named after. A spiral tip delivers water, oxygen and serum while applying suction — exfoliating, cleansing and hydrating in a single continuous pass.

5

Extraction

Pulsed vacuum lifts blackheads and congestion out of the pore. No squeezing, no metal tools, and no broken capillaries afterwards.

6

Serum infusion

Actives chosen for your skin are driven in by ultrasound and the pressurised oxygen gun, so they are absorbed rather than left on the surface.

7

Targeted technology

On HydraFacial Plus, your therapist adds what your concern calls for — radio frequency for firmness, high frequency for breakouts, or LED light for reactive skin.

8

Cool down & protect

The ice hammer calms the skin, then moisturiser and SPF go on. You leave with aftercare advice and no downtime.

Our Equipment

The technology behind your treatment

Our hydradermabrasion platform carries fifteen interchangeable handles across two tiers. Your therapist selects only what your skin needs on the day — nobody receives all fifteen, and that is precisely the point.

Eight Core Technologies

The treatment itself

These are the handles that make a HydraFacial a HydraFacial. Every treatment, Classic or Plus, is built from them.

Hydra Dermabrasion

The core step. A spiral tip pairs water and oxygen with suction to cleanse, exfoliate and extract in one pass — no abrasive crystals, no scraping, no manual squeezing.

Vacuum Pen

Pulsed suction lifts blackheads and sebum out of the pore. Because it works on and off rather than continuously, it doubles as a lymphatic drainage massage.

High-Pressure Oxygen Gun

Drives serum into the skin as a fine pressurised mist, so actives are absorbed rather than left sitting on the surface.

Skin Scrubber

Ultrasonic vibration at 25kHz loosens keratin and the debris that ordinary cleansing cannot shift, preparing the pore for extraction.

Diamond Dermabrasion

Diamond-particle friction with vacuum suction, for areas that need more resurfacing than the water tip alone delivers.

Foam Airbrush

High-pressure air whips the cleanser into a dense micro-foam, so the first cleanse reaches deeper than hands can.

Ultrasound Handle

Sound-wave resonance at one to three million Hz opens the pathway for deeper serum penetration and absorption.

Ice Hammer

Cools the treated skin at the end of your appointment to calm redness, reduce sensitivity and close the treatment down comfortably.

Seven Advanced Configurations

Added for a specific concern

Included in HydraFacial Plus, and chosen for the concern you came in with rather than applied as standard.

Bipolar RF Lifting Handle

Radio frequency warms the deeper layers to stimulate collagen, firming and smoothing with no needles and no downtime.

High-Frequency Handle

Used on congested and blemish-prone skin, where breakouts and excess oil are the primary concern.

LED Photon Light — PDT

Low-energy light that produces no heat at all, which is why it suits irritated and reactive skin. Red for collagen, blue for blemish-prone skin.

Eye Ultrasound Handle

A smaller head built for the orbital area, where the skin is thinnest — targeting dark circles and fine lines.

BIO Microcurrent Handle

Gentle microcurrent to lift and tone, used where the concern is loss of definition rather than texture.

Auto Micro-Needle Pen

A vertical-action pen that improves product penetration. Where you want genuine needling depth we book you in for microneedling instead.

Magic Bubble Pen

A fine bubble cleanse for delicate areas that the larger handles are too coarse for.

One Platform, Many Skins

Why this matters to you

A single-function facial device does one job on every client. This one lets your therapist build the treatment around what she actually finds at the start of your appointment — more extraction on congested skin, more cooling and hydration on reactive skin. Settings, handles used and how you responded go on your notes, so your next appointment starts from what worked.

Not Sure Which To Choose?

We'll help you decide

Your therapist can assess your skin and discuss your concerns before recommending the most appropriate treatment. You can also message us before booking if you would like advice.

Other Hydrating Facials

Comcit H2O Glow, Combo Facial, Oxygen Therapy and more

We offer several other hydration-focused facials from £65. They are listed in full, with prices and descriptions, on our facials page.

Congestion

For congested skin & blackheads

Congestion can develop when excess oil, dead skin cells and impurities accumulate around the pores. HydraFacial combines exfoliation with controlled extraction, making it a popular choice for clients concerned about congestion and blackheads.

For more persistent concerns, your therapist may recommend a different facial or a longer-term skin treatment plan.

Dehydration

For dry & dehydrated skin

Skin lacking moisture can appear dull, tight or tired. Hydration is an important part of the HydraFacial treatment, making it particularly attractive to clients looking for skin that feels more hydrated, smooth and refreshed.

Radiance

For dull skin

If your complexion looks tired or lacks radiance, the combination of cleansing, exfoliation and hydration can help reveal a fresher and more luminous appearance.

This also makes HydraFacial a popular treatment before important occasions.

Before a wedding or special occasion

HydraFacial is popular before weddings, engagements, birthdays, holidays, parties, photoshoots and other special occasions.

  • Plan ahead. If you have not had a HydraFacial before, book in advance rather than trying a new treatment immediately before an important event.
  • Low downtime. Many clients return to their normal routine following treatment.
  • Some temporary redness or sensitivity can occur depending on the skin and treatment performed.

HydraFacial aftercare

  • Follow the personalised advice given by your therapist.
  • Keep your skincare routine gentle immediately following treatment.
  • Avoid irritating or aggressive skincare products for the period recommended.
  • Avoid picking or squeezing the skin.
  • Keep the skin hydrated.
  • Use appropriate daily sun protection.
  • Contact us if you experience an unexpected reaction or have concerns.

Afterwards

What to expect and how to look after your skin

There is no downtime. Most people go straight back to work or out for the evening — it is one of the reasons this treatment is booked before events.

Straight after your appointment

  • Skin usually looks brighter and feels smoother immediately
  • Mild warmth or light pinkness can last an hour or two, particularly after extraction
  • Occasionally congestion that was sitting under the surface comes up over the next few days — this settles
  • You can wear make-up the same day if you need to

For the next 24 to 48 hours

  • Leave exfoliants, acids and retinol out of your routine
  • Skip sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms and hot yoga
  • Wear SPF daily — freshly exfoliated skin is more sensitive to sun
  • Keep fake tan and strong fragrance off the treated area
  • Drink plenty of water and let the hydration do its work

If anything does not feel right afterwards, call us on +44 7391 213145 rather than waiting for your next appointment. Individual results vary and we will never promise a specific outcome.

Good To Know

HydraFacial FAQs

What is HydraFacial?
HydraFacial is a multi-step facial treatment combining cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration within one appointment.
Does HydraFacial remove blackheads?
The extraction stage is designed to help remove pore congestion and impurities, which can make HydraFacial a useful option for clients concerned about blackheads. Results vary depending on the severity and cause of congestion.
Is HydraFacial suitable for acne?
This depends on the type and condition of the acne. HydraFacial may be appropriate for some congested or blemish-prone skin, but active or more complex acne should be assessed before treatment. We can recommend a more suitable skin treatment where necessary.
Does HydraFacial hurt?
HydraFacial is generally designed to be a comfortable treatment. You may feel the suction of the device during extraction, but the experience should not normally feel aggressive.
Will my skin look different immediately?
Many clients notice that their skin looks fresher, smoother or more hydrated after treatment. Individual results vary according to skin condition and treatment performed.
Can I wear make-up after HydraFacial?
We generally recommend allowing freshly treated skin some time before applying unnecessary products. Your therapist will give you advice based on your skin and treatment.
Can men have HydraFacial?
Absolutely. HydraFacial can be suitable for both women and men, and can be particularly useful for concerns such as congestion, excess oil, dehydration and general skin maintenance.
How much does a HydraFacial cost?
HydraFacial Classic is £120 for one hour. HydraFacial Plus is £150 for one hour ten minutes. Those are the prices you will see when you book online — there is no consultation fee and no surcharge added afterwards.
How long does a HydraFacial take?
HydraFacial Classic takes one hour. HydraFacial Plus takes one hour and ten minutes. There is no downtime after either, so you can go straight back to work or out afterwards.
How often should I have one?
There is no single schedule suitable for everybody. Your therapist can recommend a frequency based on your skin condition and goals.
Which HydraFacial should I book?
Classic (£120) if you want maintenance, a deep clean and hydration. Plus (£150) if you are treating a specific concern — fine lines and firmness, uneven tone, or congestion and breakouts. If you are unsure, book the Classic and your therapist will tell you at the appointment whether the Plus would actually do more for you.
